But what really sold me was how the narrow streets around here come alive in the evenings. Couples especially seem to get this (they’ve rated the location 9.8, which honestly doesn’t surprise me at all). You know what’s great? You’re close enough to everything but tucked away from the main tourist chaos on Calle Marqués de Larios.

The apartment setup here is actually perfect for travelers who want more than just a hotel room. Each unit comes with a proper kitchen, which means you can grab fresh ingredients from the nearby Mercado Central and cook if you want — though with all the incredible tapas bars around, you might not bother. The spaces feel authentically Spanish rather than generic, with tile floors and shuttered windows that keep things cool during those warm Málaga afternoons. I particularly appreciated how quiet it stays at night, despite being so central.

Local Living

What makes this place special is how it drops you into actual Málaga life. There’s a tiny restaurant around the corner that locals frequent — no English menu, just whatever the owner’s mother cooked that day. The nearest parking is about a two-minute walk, which is actually pretty good for this part of the city (trust me, you don’t want to drive through these narrow streets anyway). Mornings here are lovely — you’ll hear the city waking up, church bells, maybe some flamenco guitar drifting from a nearby courtyard.

  The apartment looks new (or newly refurbished) and in a very good condition. Clean and warm place in a quiet area but still very central. There are two supermarkets in a short proximity to the apartment (only a couple of minutes walk from the apartment) with an excellent selection of fruits and vegetables as well as other goods.
  The owner is very friendly and helpful.

  Very central location in the heart of the old town. It was clean and had nice facilities, including a nice shower and coffee machine. The host, Alejandro, is absolutely lovely and takes the time to ensure that you have everything that you need for a move stay. He provided us with a virtual map that highlighted all of the areas of interest, separated into restaurants, bars, places for Tapas, places to visit, etc. which was a very kind and helpful gesture. There is also Netflix setup on the smart TV, which was nice after a long day of walking around the city so that we could relax and watch something before bed.

  Brilliantly situated apartment in a pedestrianised area. Easy walking distance to attractions like the cathedral,fabulous indoor food market and Constitution Plaza.

  Location is great, right in the center. There is a bit noise at night, however didn’t bothered us as we were tired after long days. The washer is a plus for us. Host Alejandro is just incredibly. He made Malaga stay memorable. He meet us in person and gave information about everything. He created a Google map to high light all the restaurants for breakfast, tapas and dinner. He also checks in regularly to see if we need anything or any information. His hospitality shows his passion to make everyone happy. I’m glad we stayed here, and would definitely come back again.
