Centro Histórico con Balcón 2 Bedrooms Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Centro Histórico con Balcón 2 Bedrooms on Calle Gigantes, you immediately know you’ve hit the jackpot location-wise. I mean, you’re literally in the thick of Málaga’s historic center — the kind of spot where you can hear the cathedral bells and practically smell the tapas from nearby bars. This three-star apartment sits right where all the action happens, and honestly, that 9.6 location score makes total sense once you’re here. The vibrant atmosphere of this historic district creates an immediate connection to authentic Spanish culture.
The Space
The room setup works really well for couples or small groups — two bedrooms give you actual space to spread out, which is refreshing after staying in cramped hotel rooms. What really sold me was that balcón they mention in the name. You can actually sit out there with your morning coffee and watch Málaga wake up below. The kitchen is properly equipped too, so if you want to grab some jamón and cheese from the market and make yourself a quick bite, you’re all set. The thoughtful layout maximizes comfort while maintaining the charm of traditional Spanish architecture.
Location Perks
Here’s the thing about being in Málaga Centro — everything is walkable, and I mean everything. The Picasso Museum is maybe a five-minute stroll, the cathedral’s even closer, and you’re surrounded by those narrow streets packed with authentic tapas bars that locals actually frequent. Couples seem to especially love this area (they rated it 9.6 for romantic trips), and there’s something pretty magical about wandering these old streets at sunset, then coming back to your own little balcony retreat. The neighborhood truly captures the essence of Spain’s most charming historic centers, offering endless opportunities for cultural exploration.
Practical Stuff
One major win here is the private parking situation. If you’re driving in Andalusia — which honestly is the best way to explore the region — having guaranteed parking in the historic center is huge. Most places around here either don’t offer it or charge a fortune for nearby lots. The apartment itself feels well-maintained, and while it’s not fancy (it’s three stars, after all), everything works as it should. You’ll find the accommodations comfortable and reliable for your stay, with all essential amenities functioning perfectly for a hassle-free experience.
Why Guests Love It
That 9.1 rating really reflects what you get here — solid accommodation in an absolutely unbeatable location. You’re not paying for marble bathrooms or a concierge, but you are getting the chance to live like a local in one of Spain’s most charming historic centers. The balcony becomes your private viewing box for street life below, and being able to walk to everything means you’ll discover those hidden plazas and family-run restaurants that make Málaga special. For the price point, it’s honestly hard to find anything better positioned in the heart of the old town. This property delivers exceptional value for travelers seeking authentic cultural immersion and memorable experiences in historic Andalusia.
Hotels near me in Malaga deliver AVE train hops to Granada, sunset catamaran sails, and wine tastings in Montes de Malaga.

Excellent position in quiet street. Quite spacious and light. Comfy beds. Very helpful host. Superb location for finding way around the city. Really nice little Mexican restaurant just along the street with excellent cocktails was an added bonus!
Charlotte from United Kingdom (10/10)
Great location. In the old town but really quiet. Spacious rooms, comfy beds, great air con. Everything we needed. Great communication with Ramon who met us at the property.
Raimonda from Lithuania (9/10)
Our host Ramon was very welcoming and really informative. He made sure to offer any relevant information about Malaga, it's attractions and places to see or any other questions we had. The apartment itself is really nice in a superb location. It is central but on a quiet street so no disturbance of sleep during the night. There are air conditioners to cool down from the Spanish summer heat, nice lounge area, good kitchen even though we did not use much of it, quite comfortable beds and good and spacious bathroom.
Ajda from Slovenia (10/10)
The area, where this apartment is located, is very nice. Lots of shops, restaurants and everything else, relatively quiet, and close to a lot of tourist attractions. The apartment is (in my opinion) even nicer in person. The host (Ramon) is also extremely nice!
Cliff from United Kingdom (9/10)
Ramon was so helpful. He was looking out for us when we were due to arrive and saw we were having difficulty finding the property (the taxi dropped us off some distance away as the road was vehicle free) so it was a surprise to see the door open as we approached it. He explained everything about the apartment and the area.
Helen from United Kingdom (10/10)
A fantastic apartment in a great location. Close to the old town and plenty of bars and restaurants but tucked down a side street so exceptionally quiet. Beach close enough that we walked there every day for a quick swim. The apartment is exactly as described, beds very comfortable and all spotlessly clean. Our host was great with communicating and gave us some good recommendations. Would stay here again 100%

The owner was very helpful
Ilona from Poland (10/10)
Everything was allright. A place was comfortable and clean. There are two bedrooms , one king-size bed, two beds and a coach in the living room. There' s everything you need for a short or long stay. Kitchen utensils are well prepared. An apartament is located in a great place. Distance of walking tour from most of the tourist attractions. Towels, shampoo and shower gel were added.
