The location on Calle Cinteria is absolutely brilliant, and I mean that — you’re right in the heart of Málaga Centro but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with constant street noise. The famous Atarazanas Market is literally around the corner (hence the name), which means you’ll have access to some of the best local produce and tapas spots that tourists often miss. Honestly, being this close to the historic center means you can walk to the Picasso Museum, the Cathedral, and the port area without breaking a sweat.

The Room Experience

My room was thoughtfully designed with clean lines and comfortable furnishings that actually make sense for the space. The beds are properly comfortable — not too soft, not too firm — and the air conditioning works efficiently, which you’ll definitely appreciate during Málaga’s warm months. What I really liked was the attention to soundproofing; despite being in the city center, I slept well without being disturbed by outside noise. The bathrooms are modern and well-appointed, though not huge — but everything you need is there and it’s all quality fixtures.

Dining and Amenities

While the hotel doesn’t have a full restaurant, they’ve partnered with some excellent local establishments that offer room service and special rates for guests. The breakfast setup is continental style but done well — fresh pastries, good coffee, and local specialties that give you a proper taste of Andalusian mornings. There’s also a small business center and reliable WiFi throughout, which worked perfectly for the times I needed to catch up on work.

The staff clearly knows the neighborhood well and can point you toward hidden gems that aren’t in the guidebooks — like the best time to visit the market or which tapas bars locals actually frequent. Couples particularly seem to appreciate the intimate atmosphere and the fact that you can explore Málaga’s romantic old quarter on foot, then retreat to a peaceful, well-designed space. It’s the kind of hotel that enhances your Málaga experience rather than just providing a place to sleep.

  We stayed in a nice second floor apartment with comfy bed, sofa, kitchenette, dinner-table and WC. Perfectly located for visiting the old town. Plenty of restaurants and shops around, among them a great coffee-shop at the corner and two excellent 'churrerias' nearby. Key handover was smooth, directly in the reception. The room was surprisingly quiet.
