  The apartment on Calle Maestranza is in an excellent location that I chose on purpose. It is both close to a long stretch of successive beaches and only a short walk from the city center, alcazaba and old town, and it is in a neighborhood with its own character, i.e. restaurants, bars, cafes, delicatessen shops. As a special bonus, the large terrace has a view of the sea, and a lot of afternoon sun at this time of the year.
  The immediate neighborhood is quiet and I slept well even with the windows ajar.
