The air conditioning works well, which is crucial during Málaga’s hot summers. Storage space is adequate, though you’ll want to pack light like you should for any European city trip.

Getting Around and Practical Stuff

Here’s something most hotels won’t tell you — parking in this area is basically impossible, but that’s actually perfect because you don’t need a car anyway. The train station is walkable when you arrive, and once you’re here, everything is on foot. I actually appreciated not having to worry about driving through these narrow streets. The port area where you can catch ferries to North Africa is about a fifteen-minute walk, and the beach is maybe twenty minutes if you want to escape the city heat for a bit.
