iloftmalaga Alameda de Capuchinos II Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to iloftmalaga Alameda de Capuchinos II, you immediately get that “this is going to work out well” feeling. The building sits right on one of Málaga’s most pleasant tree-lined streets, and honestly, the location alone makes this three-star property punch above its weight. I mean, you’re literally in the heart of Málaga Centro — close enough to everything that matters, but on a quieter stretch that doesn’t have the constant buzz of the main tourist drags. The entrance has a clean, modern feel without trying too hard to be flashy.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s what I love about Alameda de Capuchinos — it’s one of those streets that locals actually use, not just tourists. You’ve got the Picasso Museum just a few minutes’ walk away, and the cathedral is practically around the corner. But you know what’s really great? The street itself has this lovely canopy of trees that provides actual shade during those scorching Andalusian afternoons. Couples seem to particularly appreciate this spot (they rate it 8.6, which honestly makes sense), probably because you can stroll to dinner without dealing with crowds, then easily walk back without needing taxis or public transport.
The Accommodation Experience
The rooms have that contemporary apartment-style setup that works really well for travelers who want a bit more space than your typical hotel box. Everything feels fresh and well-maintained — not cutting-edge design, but thoughtfully put together with good lighting and comfortable furnishings. The kitchenette situation is actually useful here, especially since there’s a small supermarket nearby where you can grab basics. Air conditioning works properly (crucial in Málaga), and the Wi-Fi doesn’t give you those frustrating dropped connections that plague so many places in Spain’s historic centers.
Exploring from Here
What strikes me about staying at iloftmalaga Alameda de Capuchinos II is how effortlessly you can slip into Málaga’s rhythm. The Thyssen Museum is maybe a seven-minute walk, and you can reach the port area in about fifteen minutes on foot. But honestly, some of my favorite discoveries happened just wandering the immediate neighborhood — there’s this excellent little tapas place two blocks down that I never would have found if I’d been staying in the more obvious tourist zones. The beach is totally walkable too, though you’ll want to save that for evening when the sun isn’t quite so intense.
Why Guests Love It
The 8.2 rating really reflects what this place does well — it delivers exactly what you need without any unnecessary complications. You’re not paying for amenities you won’t use, but you’re getting a solid base in an genuinely great location. The staff keeps things running smoothly, and there’s something refreshing about a place that focuses on the fundamentals rather than trying to wow you with gimmicks. For the price point in this part of Málaga, it’s honestly hard to argue with the value proposition, especially if you’re the type of traveler who spends most of your time out exploring rather than hanging around the hotel.

Reviews of iloftmalaga Alameda de Capuchinos II
Rex from United Kingdom (9/10)
Lovely fresh and clean apartment in an ideal location for exploring the city. Local cafes nearby that were always busy with locals which is always a good sign. We walked into the old city areas about 15 minutes easy walk and then another Gentle 15 minutes walk to the beach area. The apartment had everything needed for a week's stay including all the white goods. We really enjoyed this apartment and will definitely book again.
Martijn from Czech Republic (7/10)
Location, easy communication and access to the apartment, equipment, even washing powder and dishwasher tablets provided for the beginning.
Elvinas from Ireland (8/10)
Supermarket across the street super handy, very clean, beds were ok, not super comfy but did the job. The road to the main bedroom is quite busy and noisy.

All. The rooms, kitchen, where the apartment it’s located.
Mina from Iran (6/10)
For the price, the apartment had a lot of facilities, including a dishwasher, washing machine, and a toaster, which was good. The location is easily accessible via the bus station. In general, it is an acceptable apartment for short trips.
