INMálaga Plaza De Las Flores Overview
First Impressions
Walking into INMálaga Plaza De Las Flores, you immediately understand why this four-star hotel gets such high marks from guests. The location is honestly perfect — you’re right in the heart of Málaga‘s historic center, literally steps from one of the city’s most charming squares. I mean, the name says it all — Plaza de las Flores translates to “Square of the Flowers,” and trust me, it lives up to that romantic image. The building itself has this lovely blend of traditional Andalusian architecture with modern touches that doesn’t feel forced or overdone.
The Heart of Málaga
What really sets this place apart is how perfectly positioned you are for exploring. You can walk to the Picasso Museum in about five minutes, and the Cathedral is practically around the corner. The narrow cobblestone streets of the old town spread out from your doorstep, filled with tapas bars and local shops that tourists often miss when they stay in the more generic hotel zones. Honestly, I’ve stayed in fancier places that felt completely disconnected from the real Málaga — this isn’t one of those situations.
The Room Experience
The rooms here strike that sweet spot between comfort and character. My room had these lovely high ceilings and traditional tile floors that kept things cool during the day, but with modern air conditioning for when you really need it. The bathrooms are updated without losing the Spanish charm, and you know what? The beds are actually comfortable — not always a given in boutique-style hotels. Some rooms overlook the plaza itself, which means you get a bit of street life (nothing too crazy, but you’ll hear people chatting as they pass by in the evenings).
Dining and Daily Life
There’s a cozy restaurant on the ground floor that serves solid Andalusian fare, though honestly, with so many incredible local spots within a two-minute walk, you might find yourself eating out most of the time. The breakfast is decent — nothing extraordinary, but fresh and filling enough to fuel your morning explorations. What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to genuinely know the neighborhood and could point you toward the less obvious gems nearby.
Why Guests Love It
The 8.8 rating makes complete sense once you’ve spent a night or two here. It’s that rare combination of authentic location, comfortable accommodations, and reasonable pricing that’s getting harder to find in popular Spanish cities. Couples especially seem to love it — and I can see why, given how romantic those evening strolls through the plaza can be. You’re not getting five-star amenities, but you’re getting something potentially more valuable: a genuine sense of place and easy access to everything that makes Málaga special. The fact that recent guests consistently praise the location tells you everything you need to know about whether this place delivers on its promise.

The location was amazing! The balcony overlooks a gorgeous small plaza of restaurants and sits just off one of the main streets. Beautiful location and really would be hard to get a better one 10/10
The apartment had an fantastic balcony, great living space and 2 great bedrooms. Good to have 2 double bedrooms as was myself and mother staying. We did however have to both use the principal shower and the shower in the 2nd bedroom was a small cubicle style one. No drama for us but good to know if that's important to you.
Carlos who met us there was lovely and responded to messages immediately – couldn't fault the process at all.Hazel from United Kingdom (8/10)
