Málaga Apartamentos – Pozos Dulces, 22 Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Málaga Apartamentos – Pozos Dulces, 22 for the first time, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from the name alone. But you know what? Sometimes the most straightforward places surprise you the most. This three-star property sits right on a quiet street that somehow manages to be both peaceful and incredibly central — which, if you’ve spent any time in Málaga, you’ll know is pretty rare. The building’s location offers an authentic slice of local life while remaining steps away from major attractions.
Location That Actually Matters
Here’s the thing about location in Málaga — everyone claims to be “central,” but this place actually delivers. I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from the Cathedral and maybe seven minutes to the Picasso Museum. The street itself (Pozos Dulces) is one of those narrow, traditional Andalusian streets where locals still hang laundry from their balconies. There’s a small café around the corner where the owner remembers your coffee order after two visits, and honestly, that’s the kind of neighborhood detail that makes a stay memorable. You’ll find yourself naturally drawn into the rhythm of daily life here.
The Apartment Experience
Each apartment feels more like staying in a friend’s place than a typical hotel room. The kitchen is actually functional — not just a mini-fridge with delusions of grandeur. I was able to make proper breakfast and even cook dinner with ingredients from the Mercado de Atarazanas, which is about a ten-minute walk away. The spaces are clean and well-maintained, though don’t expect cutting-edge design. It’s more about comfort and practicality, which worked perfectly for me. Having a full cooking setup transforms how you experience a destination.
Practical Perks
The private parking situation is actually a godsend if you’re driving — finding parking in central Málaga can be a nightmare, and I learned that the hard way on previous trips. The building itself is quiet, even though you’re surrounded by the city’s energy. Air conditioning works well (crucial during summer months), and the WiFi is reliable enough for video calls, which I needed for work. These thoughtful details make extended stays genuinely comfortable.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t going to wow you with fancy amenities or a rooftop pool, but it nails the fundamentals. The location score speaks for itself — couples especially seem to love how easy it is to explore on foot and then retreat to a peaceful base. You’re close enough to hear the city’s pulse but far enough from the main tourist drags to actually get some sleep. For the price point, you’re getting genuine value in a city where central accommodation can get expensive quickly. It’s the kind of place where you spend your days exploring Málaga’s incredible food scene and museums, then come back to a comfortable space that feels like home. Whether you’re visiting for a weekend or staying longer, this property delivers exactly what it promises.

The apartment is small but functional, all furnitures were very comfortable, specially the bed. Having breakfast at the rooftop was incredible, amazingly sunny even for the first week of January. It is also impressively well located, at extreme short distance from restaurants, museums, supermarkets and stores.
