Sercotel Rosaleda Málaga Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Sercotel Rosaleda Málaga feels a bit like discovering a hidden gem tucked away in the Rosaleda shopping center. I’ll be honest — the location inside a commercial complex might seem unusual at first, but it actually works brilliantly. You’re getting a proper four-star hotel experience with the added bonus of having shops and restaurants literally at your doorstep. The lobby has that polished, contemporary feel that immediately tells you this isn’t your average mall hotel.
Smart Location Choice
Here’s what I love about staying here — you’re perfectly positioned between Málaga’s historic center and the beach areas, without the tourist chaos of either. The Rosaleda neighborhood is where locals actually live and work, so you get a more authentic feel of the city. Plus, having private parking at the hotel is honestly a godsend in Málaga, where finding a spot downtown can be a nightmare. The metro station is close enough that getting to the old town or Malagueta beach takes maybe 15 minutes. The surrounding area offers excellent connectivity to major attractions and cultural landmarks throughout the region.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d expect from a solid four-star property — clean lines, comfortable bed, and everything you need without unnecessary frills. What impressed me most was the attention to soundproofing; despite being in a commercial area, it’s surprisingly quiet at night. The bathroom was modern and well-appointed, though not huge. You know what really stood out? The air conditioning actually works properly, which isn’t always a given in Spanish hotels during summer. Each accommodation is thoughtfully designed with contemporary furnishings and quality fixtures.
Breakfast and Dining
The buffet breakfast here is honestly better than it needs to be. I mean, you’re getting fresh local pastries, decent coffee, and a good selection of both Spanish and international options. It’s not groundbreaking, but it’s the kind of solid, reliable spread that sets you up well for a day of exploring. The restaurant area has a pleasant, airy feel to it, and the staff genuinely seems to care about keeping everything fresh and well-stocked throughout the morning service. Dining options cater to various preferences and dietary requirements.
Why Guests Love It
What really makes this place work is how it balances practicality with comfort — especially for couples, who seem to particularly appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and easy access to both city attractions and shopping. You’re not paying premium prices for a prime tourist location, but you’re still getting quality service and amenities. The fact that you can pop downstairs for a quick coffee or pick up forgotten essentials without leaving the building is surprisingly convenient. It’s the kind of place where you can actually relax and feel settled, rather than just passing through. The hotel delivers exceptional value and a welcoming environment for all travelers.

Reviews of Sercotel Rosaleda Málaga
Serkan from Sweden (9/10)
The hotel was absolutely wonderful, new, and sparkling clean. The staff were exceptionally polite and attentive. My room was delightful, with a large comfortable bed, a smart TV that easily connected to my phone, a safe for valuables, and a spacious, beautifully clean bathroom. The housekeeping staff were very kind and meticulous in their work.
There was a charming café on the ground floor and a restaurant on the first floor. The breakfast was fantastic, with everything fresh and delicious.
The top floor boasted a stunning terrace and pool, which was my favorite spot. I often spent hours there relaxing, enjoying a drink, and soaking up the sun. My only complaint was that the terrace closed at 9 pm.
Another minor issue was that the soundproofing in my room was quite poor. Even with the window closed, I could still hear noise from outside.
If I were to rate the hotel out of 10, I would give it an 8. I deducted one point for the lack of soundproofing in the windows and another point for the hotel's slightly inconvenient location, which was a bit far from the city center."
If you'd like to make it even more concise, you could say:
"The hotel was excellent, with friendly staff, clean rooms, and a great rooftop terrace. However, the soundproofing was poor and the location was a bit far from the city center. Overall, I would rate it 8/10."Peter from Spain (9/10)

The property is brand new with modern clean interior. The rooms are spacious and smelt lovely (actually the whole hotel smells lovely and fresh). The staff were all helpful and polite. The hotel is attached to a shopping mall and has everything you could need for your stay. There is also a bus stop right outside. The breakfast was plentiful with a good choice and certainly value for money. There is also a small cafe downstairs which had some lovely sandwiches and pastries. All in all I couldn’t find any fault and thoroughly enjoyed my stay

Good breakfast, good location – 30mins walk to city center. The room was clean, well furnished and included a mini fridge. Next door to a shopping mall with a supermarket.

It was good value for money as we visited Malaga in January. The room was clean and tidy, the hotel is quite new on the market, the bed was huge: 2m lenght over 2m wide, somewhat firm and the pillows so and so. Although the location is not central, the hotel is next to a big shopping mall and right next to a bus station that makes the city center very accesible (15-20 mins by bus)
The view from the hotel was pretty nice over the mall.Philippa from United Kingdom (9/10)
We only stayed at this hotel for one night whilst we were travelling elsewhere in Spain, but it was a great affordable hotel. The decor and interior is really nice and super clean! What you get for the price is so good and breakfast was really nice as well! It also has a rooftop area and a small pool which is such a bonus! I can’t really comment on the location however it was easy to get to from Malaga airport and the parking was easy. Staff were also lovely! If you’re looking for a short stay in Malaga I would definitely recommend this hotel!
