Soho Boutique Los Naranjos Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Soho Boutique Los Naranjos on Paseo de Sancha, you immediately get that “this feels right” vibe. It’s one of those three-star places that doesn’t try too hard but somehow nails the essentials. The building has character — not flashy, but there’s something genuinely welcoming about it that makes you think, okay, I can settle in here for a few days.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s what I love about this spot in Málaga — you’re actually in the heart of things without being stuck in tourist chaos. Paseo de Sancha puts you close enough to the old town that you can walk to the cathedral and Picasso Museum, but you’re also near the beach areas. I mean, couples consistently rate this location highly (around 8.6 apparently), and honestly, I get why. You’ve got that perfect balance where you can grab morning coffee at a local café, then decide whether you want culture or coastline for the day.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was clean and thoughtfully designed — nothing fancy, but everything worked properly, which you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case. The beds are comfortable enough that you’ll actually sleep well, and there’s decent storage space for your stuff. What I appreciated was the attention to small details, like having enough outlets near the bed and blackout curtains that actually block light. Sometimes it’s the simple things that make or break a stay, you know?
Breakfast & Practical Matters
The buffet breakfast is solid — not going to change your life, but there’s variety and it’s fresh. You’ll find the usual suspects plus some local touches that make it feel less generic than most hotel breakfasts. One thing that’s genuinely helpful is the private parking situation. If you’re driving in Málaga (which can be… an adventure), having a guaranteed spot takes away a major headache. Trust me on this one — street parking in the city center is not something you want to deal with after a long travel day. The hotel staff can also provide recommendations for nearby restaurants and attractions.
Why Guests Love It
What keeps people coming back here isn’t any single wow factor — it’s that everything just works smoothly. The staff knows what they’re doing, the location gives you options, and you’re not paying for amenities you won’t use. Recent guests have been rating it pretty highly (8.7 for location), and I think it’s because this place delivers on its promises without overselling itself. It’s the kind of hotel where you spend your time exploring Málaga instead of hanging around the lobby, which is exactly what you want in a city this interesting. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, this three-star boutique hotel provides excellent value.

Fine location on the second street from the beach. Easy walk to the historical center. Ocean-view (between buildings) from the balconies on the 5th floor. I would not say the area is quiet, due to the proximity to the street, but it is adjacent to a quiet neighbourhood of houses in the back. There is a tiny grocery-store down the road, and busses run in the street. Frendly and helpful staff with an eye for service. Minibar.

The hotel was clean and very pleasant with wonderful staff and amazing breakfast. The centre was easy to get to with a bus just in front of the hotel.
