Victoria Suites 57 Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Victoria Suites 57, you immediately get that feeling you’ve struck gold with your accommodation choice. The building sits right on Calle Victoria in the absolute center of Málaga — I mean, you literally can’t get more central than this. It’s one of those three-star properties that punches well above its weight, honestly. The entrance has a clean, modern feel without being flashy, and you can tell from the moment you step inside that someone actually cares about the details here.
Location Magic
Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re genuinely in the thick of everything that makes Málaga special. The Picasso Museum is practically around the corner, and you can walk to the Cathedral in about three minutes. I’ve stayed in plenty of places that claim to be “centrally located,” but this one actually delivers on that promise. The narrow streets around Calle Victoria buzz with that authentic Spanish energy, especially in the evenings when locals spill out of the tapas bars. You know what’s really convenient? The main shopping street, Larios, is right there, but you’re tucked away enough that you won’t be dealing with constant tourist crowds outside your window.
The Suites Experience
The rooms — well, they’re proper suites, which makes a real difference when you’re staying more than a night or two. Mine had a separate living area that didn’t feel cramped, plus a kitchenette that was actually functional (not just for show like some places). The design leans modern and clean, with good lighting and comfortable furniture. Air conditioning works properly, which you’ll definitely appreciate during Málaga’s warm months. The bathroom was spotless and well-appointed, though not huge — but honestly, when you’re spending most of your time exploring the city, that hardly matters.
Neighborhood Vibes
What really sets this place apart is how it connects you to authentic Málaga life. Step outside and you’re immediately among locals heading to work, kids walking to school, elderly residents doing their daily shopping at the small groceries nearby. There’s a fantastic little café two doors down where I grabbed coffee every morning — the kind of place where the barista remembers your order by day three. The evening scene is brilliant too, with traditional tavernas mixing alongside newer wine bars, creating this perfect blend of old and new Málaga. You can stumble home after dinner without worrying about navigation or late-night transport.
Why Guests Love It
The location score of 9.4 tells the whole story, really — couples especially seem to fall for this spot, and I can see why. There’s something romantic about being able to wander the historic center hand-in-hand, then retreat to your own comfortable space when you need a break. The staff strikes that perfect balance of being helpful without hovering, and they genuinely know the neighborhood well enough to point you toward hidden gems. For the price point, you’re getting excellent value in a city where central accommodation can get expensive quickly. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like a temporary local rather than just another tourist passing through.

Reviews of Victoria Suites 57
Dejan from Canada (9/10)
Minutes from the center and a 15-20 minute walk to a good part of the beach. Grocery stores and pharmacies a minute or less walk away each. Extra towels. Really nice little balcony for a couple of people to sit on. The sofa bed and the bed were both comfortable and you can fit two people on each. Kitchen is stocked with enough tools to be able to prep food (pots and pans, various knives, cutting board, electric stove that heats the pan up quickly).

Cute apartment with everything you need for a short stay. Kitchen has basic dishes and appliances, so you can make coffee, simple meal or microwave something. We really liked the balcony and we were lucky enough to have nice weather in December, so we could eat and drink coffee outside. Location was amazing, just across a street there is a bakery, multiple mini markets and it is located few minutes from most of city's attractions. Checking in was through codes, easy and convinient.
