Plus, there’s a decent supermarket within walking distance, which comes in handy.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d expect from a three-star Holiday Inn Express — clean, functional, and surprisingly comfortable. The bed was actually really good (I’m picky about mattresses), and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which you definitely need during Málaga summers. The bathroom was compact but well-designed, with a proper shower that had decent water pressure. What I liked most was the blackout curtains — they actually block out light completely, so you can sleep in even with all that Mediterranean sunshine.

Couples seem to particularly enjoy it — probably because you can fly in, grab your rental car, and be exploring Andalusia within an hour of landing.
